How cheap did you make a computer using used and scrap parts?
So, I’ve made my own computer rig just for simple day to day office work, and I can smugly say it is excellent
Intel Celeron 2.4GHz Socket 478 £2.50 (eBay)*
AOpen MX-CN Socket 478 Motherboard £14.99 (eBay)*
768MB DDR RAM, Free, (Salvaged from another computer).
Western Digital 80GB Hard Drive, Free (Salvaged from another computer)
Phillips DVD+RW, Free (Salvaged from another computer)
Colors IT Case w/500W PSU £39.99 (Maplins)
C-Media PCI Sound Card £2 (Second hand market)
OpenSUSE 11.2 Operating System (Free, Novell website)
Approximate cost is around £60. Not bad for a computer of that spec, eh? All in all, I think it was a good deal, I managed to get a full computer for less than a price for a Vista license, or some moderate entry level video editing software. Tell me what you think 
Yeah thats cool and everything, but isnt it yet still outdated? How much could you sell it for?

Need help with a computer Problem?
I just recently built a low end system for my mother.

I have originally bought these things for her to save some money and to hopefully get her to be able to play World of Warcraft. Currently we are having constant problems loading the game. We get errors saying the files are corrupt, or they cannot be verified. I have downloaded all the current drivers for the motherboard, video card, updated the bios for the MB, and the CD-ROM drive. Even reloaded XP twice, and still am having problems. Im running out of ideas. Any suggestions would be nice.
There is no intel core 2 at 3 Ghz, … files corrupt is a software error.. hope u are not installing the game from a scratched cd …
