Amd Motherboard
¿I can use an AMD motherboard with Intel?

I am looking to build my own computer and am a bit unsure as to compatibility, if someone I could give more information or even places to read about.

If you tell me what motherboard you have. I'll tell you what type of processor is embedded in it. If you have your motherboard specifications you have one: o Socket LGA775 socket for 1366 are looking to Intel for Intel processors that use this connector, should say in the description. An Intel uses a 775 will not work on a socket LGA 1366 and vice versa. Socket AM2, AM2 + and AM3 processors are looking for AMD processors that are compatible with those who say in the specifications. *** Note: If you have an AM2 + motherboard can sometimes update the BIOS to support AM3 (not sure whether the same applies for AM2 to AM2 +), but should be able to check on the website of the manufacturers plate. Intel processors are not compatible with AM2, AM2 + and AM3 sockets AMD are not compatible with socket 775 or socket LGA1366. Try this link http://compreviews.about.com/od/tutorials/u/BuildaPC.htm

What is the most favorable "game" of the motherboard for AMD and Intel?

I still have a hard time deciding whether to buy an AMD Phenom II X6 1100T or 990 or Intel Core i7 Extreme Edition 980 X, so I'm wieghing my options for two generations. So is the difference between processors Intel Core i7 990 and 980 X, because they have the same price, but idk it is better for gaming?

My mother was the first elite, more than 12 years, processor Intel and a GeForce 256, I was not very impressed. After 6 months, I use Asus mother board AMD and ATI / AMD graphics. ASUS has a wide variety of motherboards, check it out!
